Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (EULA)
Last updated: August 18, 2026
By downloading, installing, or using RagOff (the "Software"), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement (EULA). If you do not agree to the terms, do not install or use the Software.
1. Merchant of Record (Order Processing)
Our checkout process, payment collection, and invoicing are securely operated by Paddle.com. Paddle is the official Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles customer service inquiries related to financial disputes, billing, and invoicing, operating in compliance with international tax laws.
2. License Grant
RagOff is licensed desktop software, not sold. Subject to your acceptance of this EULA and the payment of applicable fees (if any), we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Software on your devices or on seats corresponding to the number of licenses purchased.
- Usage: The license is intended for personal or corporate use and must be tied to an active device/user (seat).
- Offline: The Software is designed to execute language models and vectorization strictly locally (on-premise). No user document information is sent to third-party servers.
3. Evaluation Period (Free Trial)
We offer a 7-day free evaluation period ("Free Trial"). During this period, the Software is fully functional, allowing you to verify its suitability for your workflow and the compatibility of your hardware (CPU/GPU).
After the 7-day period expires, if a valid License Key has not been activated, access to the Software will be blocked. You are not automatically charged when starting the trial.
4. Activation and License Key
Upon purchasing a RagOff license through Paddle, you will instantly receive (digitally) a License Key. This key establishes validation that you have the legal and technical permission to use the Software continuously.
The Software may occasionally perform automated validity checks of the License Key against our servers (or Paddle's servers). This process only transmits validation information (IP address, Key, Hardware ID) and does not have access to your local files.
5. Strict Usage Restrictions
You strictly agree NOT to:
- Modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software;
- Create derivative works based on the Software;
- Rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise transfer your rights in the Software;
- Publicly share, resell, or distribute your License Key;
- Use cracks, keygens, or circumvent the technological protection measures for license activation.
Failure to comply will result in immediate revocation of the license without the right to a refund and blocking of your hardware.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As Is")
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Because Artificial Intelligence operates on resource-intensive probabilistic processes, we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of the information generated by the local AI, nor do we guarantee optimal performance if your device's hardware does not meet the recommended requirements. You assume all risks and responsibilities associated with the use of the Software.
7. Updates and Renewal (If Applicable)
If you have purchased a subscription, cancellation can be managed at any time directly through the user dashboard provided by Paddle (via the purchase email). Canceling will stop future charges, and the use will remain active until the end of the already paid period. For returns and refunds, please refer to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
